3PM w/ Still I Rise, Vista, Como Brothers, Black River Union, Zombii

Baltimore pop rock trio 3PM has an undeniable and captivating spirit. That spirit is easy to see in their genuine and dynamic performances and even easier to hear in their new, unmistakably catchy pop rock sound, borrowed from their pop punk roots. And finding this unique sound has just been a part of their journey in discovering their true identity. Their melodic, fresh music has been thrilling fans and attracting notice from a wide swath of industry press. PopWrapped magazine praised the group’s “own new rebellious yet heartfelt sound”. The success of their sophomore album established a name for 3PM on the east coast and attracted a growing and dedicated fanbase. The upcoming release is an exciting, new page for 3PM, bringing their sound to the leading edge of today’s trends and destined to turbocharge their fan base and reach countless new fans.
In forming the trio in 2012, Brandon Millman (drummer) reached out to a friend’s little brother, fresh faced 13-year-old Scott Montgomery (guitarist). The two then turned to – what else – social media to add a new vocalist, finding Aaron O’Connor (lead vocals) on Twitter. Their freshman effort “Change of Plans” and simultaneous release of hit single “Perfect for Me” in early 2013 helped the group develop a strong following in their hometown. The band then recorded their eagerly awaited sophomore album “Slow Me Down” with well-known producer Paul Leavitt. Released in 2014, “Slow Me Down” turned heads, earning the boys a chance to prove themselves with a spot on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour as a catering band. During their time on the Warped Tour, “Slow Me Down” peaked on the Billboard charts at #27 Top Rock Albums, #2 Heatseekers, #18 Alternative and #19 Independent, helping push total sales for the album to 20,000 copies.
With many looking to see what they would do next, the band spent countless hours working on taking their music to the next level and emerged with a style all their own. Their writing attracted the attention of multi-platinum producer Matt Squire, who has produced breakout records for artists such as One Direction, Panic! at the Disco, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. 3PM and Squire are currently busy in the studio creating the next new sound. Be on the lookout for this next incarnation of 3PM.

Still I Rise

An alternative rock band stemming from central Connecticut aiming to write innovative, hook driven music.

Who is VISTA? Coined one of Rock Sound’s “On The Radar” bands just months after their resurrection, VISTA was derived from the decade-long solo career of frontwoman Hope Vista. Rounded out with guitarist Greg Almeida and drummer Matthew Vlossak, the self-described anthem rock band is the newest name on the block; and is already resonating throughout a massive audience on all social media fronts. The Myspace-coined “brainchild” of Hope Vista, VISTA combined long-loved arena influences to create and define a new, modern-day sub-genre in the alternative scene: anthem rock.

Their debut single, “On The Brink,” immediately introduced a chant-filled, heart-pounding, drum heavy anthemic vibe. Their first collective effort, the EP, “VERSUS,” contains 4 upbeat anthems (produced by Long Island-based producer Okan Kazdal), and made press waves on media outlets such as Rock Sound, idobi, AXS, Myspace, and Buzznet. VISTA is set to expand on lead vocalist Hope Vista’s past thriving solo career, during which she recorded an EP with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount of ZK Productions (Cartel, Mayday Parade, All Time Low), charted on the iTunes Alternative charts, and collaborated on a track with Nick Thompson of Hit The Lights.

Hoping to cement the band as a punchy anthemic trio, VISTA most recently set out to write and record “Henchmen,” their latest offering as a powerhouse single, written collectively by all 3 members.

Como Brothers

THE COMO BROTHERS are singer/songwriters from New York known for their heartfelt lyrics and harmonies. Their style of songwriting draws from pop and blues originating from a love for acts such as The Beatles. The Como Brothers have gained recognition for their energetic performances, fun personalities and original songs. Matt and Andrew are now touring promoting their 2016 EP Jam Theory and currently recording a new album. Their song “Magic” will be the first single from the new album.

Matt and Andrew’s hard work and talent have enabled them to perform and record music with some of their musical idols including drummers Steve Jordan & Aaron Sterling, bassist Sean Hurley and keyboardist Andy Burton. The brothers have been playing shows as well as writing and recording music non-stop in their quest to become the best musicians they can be.

Black River Union

“Black River Union reminds me of some of my favorite bands from the dawn of alt-rock, when competent, smart rock musicians re-discovered that they didn’t have to conform to the standards set to relegating them to one demographic and marketing to just a fraction of the listening population. Black River Union has taken this challenge by the reins, and in the memory of so many bands past and present, has combined alternative rock and pop sound with contemporary metal and hard rock, lightened with lilting piano lines and awesome vocal work.” –

With each member coming from different backgrounds of playing – influenced by rock, pop, metal, and progressive – these four mesh their writing styles together to create a range that varies from simplistic rock to more progressive songs utilizing multiple tempos and odd time signatures.

Black River Union began recording their debut EP “Silver off the Vine” at Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, CT in April of 2015. This afforded them the opportunity to work with the studio’s owner and engineer Greg Thomas, not only an accomplished producer, but also currently a member of progressive metalcore band Misery Signals. The album was released independently in the fall of 2015. The band is already back in the studio working on a follow up single and have plans to record a second EP in the summer of 2016.

With the release of “Silver Off the Vine” behind them, their main focus now is to perform as often as they can to continue to gain a strong, loyal fan base. Black River Union is determined to prove themselves to be one of the best up and coming bands Connecticut has to offer.
